Creative Critical Reflection Draft #2

How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?

Our product was very engaging for a plethora of reasons. Our letters for the cover changed for each issue and mine was orange. Orange is a very bright and eye-popping color that helps catch the attention of a reader. The black border contrasts that and sets a common theme. This is also the colors for Sarasota High. However, I did not just discuss Sarasota High in the magazine, which engages with the audience because it opens up doors for more people to be interested in the magazine and so they will read it. In addition, the three feature articles that we put on the cover are designed to draw the audience into reading the magazine. If  someone sees an article they may be interested in, they will want to pick it up. In addition, I thought it would be a good idea to get people who are not very well known to be in the articles. For high school sports, it is usually the popular ones that get the most exposure. So we could use this magazine to give the "less popular" kids the exposure they deserve. Hopefully colleges could then look at them, which could increase our revenue. We wanted to set up stands at schools and show up to sporting events and sell our magazines. We would sell them at all schools, which is partly why for each of my group members, we had different colors so we could appeal to different schools. The watermark is a way for people to recognize the magazine and so that we would not have our articles and/or ideas taken. Our product engages with a wide variety of audiences in many ways.
